HAPPY SUKIWEEN!

HAPPY HOWL'OWEEN EVERYONE!
As you know,
This is MY holiday.

Can you tell what I am this year?

It was tough this year.
I had to coordinate with my sister.  It was hard to figure out what to be and it wasn't decided until the last minute.

RIDICULOUS, right?
I look like a huge Qtip with ears.
Have you figured it out yet?
Here's a hint.  I am really the star of the show.

"EMMIE HAD A LITTLE LAMB,
LITTLE LAMB,
LITTLE LAMB,
EMMIE HAD A LITTLE LAMB WHO'S FLEECE WAS WHITE AS SNOW.
AND EVERYWHERE THAT EMMIE WENT THE LAMB WAS SURE TO GO."

As you can see, my sister's little lamb is yours truly.
I am a Bully in sheep's clothing.

I also have an understudy.
You can see her on the bench.
My sister has a stuffed lamby for when I can't be with her.
That way, people won't think she is Little Miss. Muffet, or a random character from Little House on the Prairie.

I'm not going to lie, this was a rough photoshoot.
Please excuse the fact my costume is wide open.
Mama said the velcro didn't work because my "fleece" got stuck in it.
I am so embarrassed, it's indecent.

I don't know what she is crying about.
My outfit was obviously more torturous.
But, I will say, she was not liking her bonnet.  I completely understand.

Anyhow, I am out of here.
I'll update you on the rest of Halloween later this week.
And I am behind on my weekly updates.  But, I will report on all of that after the Halloween hoopla is over.

Have fun and be safe!

Lots to catch up on...

OK, so, yes, I know that I have 2 weeks to report on.
So, let's not waste any time.
The past two weeks have been a lot of the same thing.

THE PARK!
You know how my sister loves the swings!

But, the slide....not so much.

She couldn't get off of it fast enough.

But she always loves bouncing on the the spring animals!

And she loves practicing her crawling in the grass.

AND STANDING ALL BY HERSELF!

Mama said she did it for a good 2 minutes.  Long enough to get pictures with her phone and the camera!  As you can see, she started gazing off, and had sticks to distract her from the fact Mama kept inching away.
But, she hasn't done it since.  She stands on her own, just not for a long period of time.  Maybe 25 seconds.

"I have to text my friend Brennen to tell I stood up by myself!  And that I have 2 more teeth!"
(1 on the bottom left came in, then 1 on the top left came in right after it)

"OH NO!  I forgot he is in Hawaii!  There is a time difference and I can't get ahold of him!"

So, she had to go to gymnastics by herself.

THE RINGS!

Oh how she loves the rings!

and of course, the same ol' same ol' obstacles.

As much as Sissy loves her class, boy is she tired after it!

It rained a bit.
So, Sissy had to get creative, and played with her new Japanese speaking toy!

She is learning a lot, and getting pretty smart.

Whoo Hoo!  Ball pit!

But, when you look again, this is a ball pit in our house!
Mama and my Big Mama (Sissy's Auntie Kris) bought the balls and put them in her pack n' play.
Sissy loves it.  Mama has to cover it with a sheet so that she doesn't see it all the time.  Otherwise, she runs to it so that she can play.

I don't get to play with the balls.  BOOO!

But, Sissy sure does look like she is having fun, doesn't she?

I'm not going to lie.  I am not happy.
But, to make up for it, Big Mama sent me a care package with toys.
So, I guess it's ok.

Like I said before, it has been a bit colder.
This is a track suit the Schultz family got my sister when she was born!
It finally is cold enough to wear.  And it fits!

You can't see well, but it says,
"TEAM CORWIN"

"Team Corwin is on the move!  Let's go!"

"Bye everyone!  Eat our dust!"

OK, so Mama and Sissy got back from their walk, and I noticed that Sissy was being kind of sneaky.

I went to check it out...
And she found and was eating some of a muffin!
She was hoarding it all to herself1

She just scarfed it down!

"What else do you have for me?!  I'm hungry after that walk!"

The family went to Auntie Laurie and Uncle Andy's house for the USC game.
Notice my sister's new SC dress and her new hair do!
Daddy kept telling Mama that she had "plenty of hair" to put piggy tails in.  Mama didn't believe him, but he was right!  And today was the first attempt!

It wasn't the cleanest hairdo, but it worked for awhile.

Until they (Sissy and cousin Mia) started playing!

The babies also continues to celebrate their birthdays!
This was from Auntie Dee and Uncle Jon!

It's Violet the dog!  She can say Sissy's name!

And flashcards! They have animals with different furs and feels!

(Sorry about the direction of this picture)
And of course, no birthday celebration is complete with out cupcakes!

Just like at her party, she started off dainty and careful.

But, that quickly changed, and she dove right in!

Mia was much cleaner.
Auntie Laurie was smart and fed it to her with a plate.
Clean or messy,  both the babies seemed to love it!

Then, the deal was, Mia was going to teach Emmie to walk, and Emmie would teach Mia to go up stairs.
Sissy demonstrated first.

Mia kept wanting to go up the stairs on 2 feet and upright.

But she got the hang of it!
And Mia's Daddy said that she had a sugar high from the cupcake and went up and down the stairs like 20 times!

Sissy didn't sleep on the whole ride home!
This is the face of a baby that didn't get to bed until 9:40pm!
(Her bedtime is normally 7pm)

Grandpa and Grandma sent us a Halloween package!

As always, Sissy stole my toy.

Speaking of Halloween, Sissy had a playdate at the pumpkin patch.

She finally got to see Brennen!

Look!  Sissy is wearing shoes!
Just hanging out.

Pumpkins just her size.

"Brennen, they're all ours!"

She thinks she is taking these all home.

Then they went on a hayride.

It was boring.
And hay is not soft and comfy, it's prickly.
So, Sissy just sat on the floor of the truck and played with the hay.

"Can someone tell the driver to watch the speedbumps?!"

Whoo hoo!
Giddy up!

Who is this guy she's with?!

Another group picture.
It's hard to get 5 babies to stay still.

I don't have anything to say about this picture.
It just makes me smile.

Look!  She's a pig!
Somewhere, there is a picture of cousin Garrison in the same cut out.

All and all, it was a good visit.

After, they went for frozen yogurt.

This is the face of a kid that says,
"Really Mom?  Let's not go to a pumpkin patch in 99 degree heat next time!"

We got to see Great Grandpa!

He spoiled Sissy with this big cookie!

Yummy!
But she didn't share.

This is the face of an angry baby who got her cookie taken away and given back little pieces.

Not to be outdone.
Daddy got Sissy a ghost cookie!

But she was only allowed to eat the arm.

Sissy went to play basketball!

She watch nicely as Daddy coached our friend Bobby.
His family are the ones that got Sissy the track suit.

Daddy tried to coach Sissy too.

Brooke and Jack (Bobby's siblings) came to play (and get dinner) too!

They are funny!

And nice.  They played with Sissy even though she is a baby.

They are all very polite and well behaved.  Mama hopes that Sissy grows up to be like them.

Daddy was showing Sissy how it's done!
Look!
He made it!

It was her turn.
But her shot didn't make it.

She got in trouble for double dribbling.
(and dribbling on the ball with her drool)

And for trying to shoot the ball while on the line!  Sorry kiddo, only 2 points for you.

Daddy gave up, and decided to help her.

Sissy is officially ready for Halloween.

Do you see the devil horns in her hair?

And she has the scary face down.

And the raggedy clothes.

So, we don't know how, or why...but can you see the hole at her belly button?
It started with her sleeves.
But, it has moved to her belly.
For some reason, Sissy has been chewing her pajamas.
Hopefully, this is just a phase.

As for me.
I try to stay out of the heat.
I try to stay out of the rain.
I just hang out at home, in the perfect, and constant 76 degrees of our home.

I hope you are all well.
And I will try to be on time for the next post.
Love you!
