Howl'oween and other stuff...

It's just me...

Doing what I do...

Reporting on my family, while doing my own thing.

I'll be honest.  This will all be out of order.
I am going to start with Howl'oween then backtrack on things that I have missed.

The day before Howl'oween, Sissy went to a playdate.
She hates her hat.
As you know, we were Mary had a Little Lamb.
But, playing with this corn cob, she looks more like Little House on a Prairie.

Once she got the bonnet off, she played like usual.

And as always, the piano was her favorite.

Let's play a game of "Where's Waldo?"
But, instead, it'll be, "Where's Emmie?"
There were lots of kids there!

There she is!

Then the day of Howl'oween, Mama and Sissy went to Disneyland!

She seems to like it!

Brennen came too!

Neither baby became king.
Maybe if they both drink their milk and get stronger, they can pull the sword from the stone next time.

Sissy liked the Jungle Cruise!
(They also went on Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Dumbo, and the Tiki Room)

And of course, they at lunch!  Boy did those crayons taste good!

SISSY FELL ASLEEP ON A RIDE!
The point of going to Disneyland, was it was supposed to wear the babies out, so they would take a good nap before going out at night to trick or treat.  I guess it worked a little too well on my sister.

Ms. Kim thought it was so funny!  But, Brennen was just kind of confused.  I mean, who falls asleep ON a ride?!

When she got home, she did what mom wanted, and took a nap.
I made sure that she slept well.

It is a big sister's job to stand guard and make sure she is ok.

At night, they went trick or treating with the cousins.  It was superhero night!  Garrison was Spiderman and Beckett was Batman!

Sissy was nothing.
Daddy said she was just, "along for the ride" since she can't walk to trick or treat yet.
But, she wasn't about to be left out!

Now that Halloween is over...
Here are some random things that happened the past couple weeks.

Sissy played at Brennen's house!

And the park!

Where she finally decided she liked the slide!

YEA SLIDES!

Sissy had taken up opera singing.
She sings and puts her hand out to make sure everyone sees and hears her lovely voice.

She does it on swings too.
She looks up to the sky and says, "AHHHHH!"

She loves the outdoors!

Now, I know you saw Sissy at Disneyland for Halloween.  But, that was technically her second visit.
Her first visit was with Mama and Auntie Tia!
Sissy wasn't fond of the characters, but Mama is hoping she will get used to them before Christmas and her visit to Santa.
She had to take a picture with Eeyore, Sissy said he reminded her of me.

Auntie Tia lets Sissy eat pretty much anything.
She is super spoiled!
Corn Dogs!

And Churros!

Look at the sugar on her mouth!  She told me it was,
"SOOOOOO GEEEEWD!"

But, she made the mistake of sharing with the duckies.
They wouldn't leave her alone!
And Mama is scared of birds, so they had to high tail it out of there!
(Sidenote:  Please know that Sissy doesn't really eat all this stuff.  She  might get one messy bite, but it is all for photo opportunities.)

Sissy took a picture at Mickey's house next to this cake.
Grandpa and Grandma got her Disney pass for her birthday, so she thought it was fitting.

Auntie Tia loves to clean!
And she is making my sissy her apprentice!
Here they are at Mickey's washing machine!

And cleaning products!

And magical mops!

Mama didn't care about the cleaning stuff.
But, she was excited about this Willie Wonka looking car!

Pumpkins at Goofy's house.

The carousel, always a good time!

This fountain was honking at Sissy!

Winnie the Pooh ride!
So much to look at!
Sissy did pretty well at the dark rides.
She wasn't scared at all when they went with Auntie Tia, but when she went with Brennen, she was nervous in the beginning.  But, once the ride gets going and she has stuff to look at, she is ok.

This is one tired baby at the end of her first trip to Disneyland.
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa!

The next day, she actually got to see Grandma and Grandpa!

She played with the cousins!

And they walked Garrison to school.

And Grandpa tried teaching Sissy to walk.
He held out little treats for her.  She held on with one hand, but followed the cookie.

She never actually got the hang of it.
But she was getting better.
So, someday.
That is how Daddy taught me all of my tricks, so I know this method works.
She'll get the hang of it.

Sissy went to Grandpa's trade show, it's called the PMA.
They have lots of food/produce from different countries.
This picture is for Papa Jorge, Tia Gaby and Auntie Tia!

And this one is to go with all of Mama's pictures of her and famous chefs!
She is such a food groupie!

This is Sissy and Avery.
Avery's Mama calls them "double trouble" and I can't disagree with her.
Look at the snakes at the park!
They look like the one Daddy caught!

Silly babies on the carousel!
This one is free!  And you don't have to get off if you don't want to.  You can just go round and round and round!  I think they went 4 or 5 times in a row!

Sissy is starting to feed herself.

But only yogurt.
She likes it!  She has fun and feels like a big girl.

At Auntie Tia's house.
Can she get any closer to the TV?!

She crawled under a chair and got stuck.

But, eventually made it out.
(Please ignore the fact she doesn't have pants on, they were dirty)

SSSSHHHHHH, I'm playing hide and seek from my sister.
Really just hide, I don't want her to seek me.

I'm pretty good at this game.

See?  She doesn't even see me.

But, the fact she doesn't see me, might be bad news for me.

"Hey!  Watch it!  Don't sit on me!"

So, that is about it.
I don't have much more to report.

So, I'll see you next week!
